Realistic Scope Effect allows for easy creation of a realistic sniper scope setup.
The scope setup simulates reflections, and allows any texture to be used for the crosshair, scope interior, and normal / bump maps.
It also simulates the "scope shadow" effect seen in real life, when the camera is too far or not aligned with the scope, through the use of a simple script.
The scope's main background texture is set through the use of an additional camera rendering to a Render Texture.
The shader parameters allow setting lighting colors and adjusting smoothness / metallicity.
The package contains:
• Scope Overlay shader
• ScopeEffectBase script
• Snipe Scope Mesh / Bump Textures
• Demo scene
• Demo FlyCamera script
