HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:
The original was carried by the 1737' Victory on the middle gun deck and is originally cast in 1723 by the cast master of the English Royal Brass Foundry, Andrew Schalch. The gun matches the Albert Borgard bronze gun pattern. The guns were carried for a long time on 1st rates and later adapted for service on fortresses or melt down. Or in case of the 1737' Victory lost to the wreck and the bottom of the ocean. More in the assets description.
As developer I publish regularly assets which should helping you keep times down and quality up. I spent almost 3 years with research of the English-British naval guns and am proud to release the most historically correct reconstruction of the Albert Borgard bronze guns and its trunnion-bed styled carriage. At the time of publication maybe not all calibers, lengths and weights are available because the construction based on a huge mathematical proportion sheet I created with support of ordnance experts and universities around the world. So every gun is a unique construction, to secure its historical accuracy. If you need urgently a special caliber and length, please use the support link to contact me.
MY UHQ-SERIES:
The published 3D-asset closes the gap between cinematic requirements and game using with effective LOD-managament and physical collider meshes. During my jobs I learned the importance of saving customers time and allow him the full control over the asset.
You can choose your level of detail for your individual project. Never lose time with too high or low resolution models. The LOD0-rendermesh allows you ultra high quality for cutscenes while the attached data sheet offers you the individual in game setup by using all 7 LODs.
Please read the included description for additional details! Thank you very much!
