Vert Vaults - VR hands pack
Thiefs have robbed the vault! But, It seems they lost their hands while inside, to make up for what they stole I'm selling their hands.
These rigged hands are perfectly suited for starting a project in VR, they feature a range of skin tones. And, multiple animated poses ranging from simple gestures to holding swords and casting spells!
Even though they are stylized, the proportions are anatomically correct, this is handy for matching them with your players' hands, and controllers.
Included in the pack
- 6 hand prefabs.
- 1 .FBX file, containing the hand mesh, rig, and animations.
- 6 Materials(PBR shading, metallic workflow)
- 1 Normal map texture
- 1 Metal/Rough texture
- 6 albedo textures
- 1 demo scene.
- 15 hand pose animations
- 1 Animator, for preview purposes
- 1 Script, to control the preview animator, with additional readme.
Materials
The six materials all make use of the same normal and metal/rough textures. However, they vary in albedo textures.
Animations and rig
Each animation, has a single key frame to pose the hand, only necessary bones are animated and the transform of the root object is left alone.
All animations are generic.
The rig is a generic bone structure that uses 18 bones. It's very easy to use the rig to pose and animate the hand inside of unity.
Demo
Inside the demo scene you will find all 6 prefabs lined up, each prefab has a animator on the root object of the prefab, and a script.
The script has an exposed integer parameter that can be used to set the hand pose. Changing the integer number(0 - 14) changes the hand pose.
*IMPORTANT*
The animator and script are for demo purposes, and should not be used to drive your animations in an actual project.
