Blue Ocean is an infinite ocean simulation
project which depends on URP.
Blue Ocean needs compute shader support, and has been optimized for mobile platform!
Features:
1,LOD geometry generation
2,Multi-layer GPU FFT animation waves for depth water (3 layers is enough)
3,Gerstner waves animation waves for shallow water
4,Auto water depth cache on first frame
5,Jacobian foam generation for depth water
6,Support custom waves input and foam input by texture (can be used for shoreline)
7,Screen space reflection
Tips:
1, Resolution of FFT on GPU support 3 levels, 256, 512 and 1024. The smaller the resolution, the better the performance, on the contrary, the higher the detail
2, More lod layer you can see further wave, too many layers may cause intense scattering(the ocean color is brighter). You can adjust the "Subsurface Scattering" parameters of the material to get the effect you want
3, You also can turn off screen-space reflection for better performance
