You can make your 2D and 3D Poly characters talk with TRIO and add a story to each character.

TRIO will ensure audio or text-based lip synchronization with your 2D-3D Poly characters. This means you don’t need the audio file to make your character talk.


You can make your Poly characters, Trees, Stones and any objects talk just in seconds and add events or traits to each of them.


With the TRIO Mark system, each of your characters will have their own experience, events, and traits! You can create hundreds of Events/Traits from a simple panel and customize all your characters.


Now you will make your characters feel alive. With TRIO, you can add a story to your characters and add story-depth to your project.

Talk System (For Poly Characters)


You can easily make your 2D or 3D Poly Characters more lively. This enables animation-based, audio, or text-compliant lip synchronization. You can make all the objects you want talkable with custom animations. If you don’t have any audio files, TRIO will do its best to synchronize with your text. At the same time, you can change the lip/mouth model or texture based on the character’s current state (State System).

+ All conversations are automatically added to the queue and the new conversation will not continue until the previous one is completed.

+ Highly soft and natural speech image is created by using Unity BlendTree. With PolyLips, the mouth of your character will be ready for animation with a single click. And you don’t have to deal with complicated animation trees.


The Talk system and State/Mark systems can work in harmony with each other, but they are separate systems. You can only use TRIO as Mark/State system.


TRIO Sequence


The Sequence System is highly powerful. You can gather the lines and play them in order. This way you can create long lines. Additionally, you can diversify your lines with add-ons such as Wait or Scream (Only Text-Based) options.


For example:

  1. Speak: Hello (Line1)
  2. Speak: How are you? (Line2)
  3. Wait: 1 second (Line3)
  4. State: Thinking (Change the state to Thinking.) (Line4)
  5. Speak: Do I know you from somewhere? (Line5)
  6. Wait: 1 second (Line6)
  7. Speak: Anyway, I am PolyBot. Nice to meet you. (Line7)
  8. New Event: Met you. (The personal event called “Met You” will be added to the character.) (Line8)

Lines


Add and name all audio or text-based speaking lines from TRIO Panel.


Eye (For Poly Characters)


This will make the eyes of the character more lively.

The Blinking (2D-3D)

Eye Tracking (only 2D)

This works harmoniously with the State system. Additionally, you can change custom eye behaviors for states thanks to the Harmony system. (e.g. Blink Duration, Tracking, Eye Models-Textures...)


State System


This notifies the state of the character. e.g. [Default-Neutral, Happy, Angry, Screaming, Throwing, Attacking...] Each state has an influence. This way you can see the influence/dominance of each state. This works compliant with Marks. İki tür state vardır. State(Default) ve Trait.

TRIO Mark(Event/Trait) System


Mark system contains all the events that happened to the character and all the personal traits of the character.

Create the background of all your characters with just a few clicks!


Add a story and personal differences to each of your characters with the Mark system. There are two different classes called the trait and event. ;

While the event class observes the event your character has experienced

(e.g: Died, Starving..),

You can observe the personal traits of your character with the trait class.

(e.g. Good Commander, Disciplinarian)


Influence: Each mark has an influence value. As the influence value increases, the influence of the events or traits will increase.


It works with the state system: Each event or trait will influence the influence value of the states and can even trigger them.


Suppressors: Suppressor property will cause the events or traits to prevent each other. For example, the winner of two events that try to suppress each other will be the event with the higher influence value. The suppressed events or traits will lose their influence.


Blocked Mark List: The block list defined to Mark becomes active when Mark is active. Marks in the block list are blocked and cannot be added. (e.g: Died Mark Blocks All)


Life: Each trait and event can have a limited life. These will disappear after a certain time.


Increase Timer: The influence value of the event or trait will increase over time.


Decrease Timer: The influence value of the event or trait will decrease over time.
