Plugin to import Torque3D / TGEA & TGE terrain file and large tiled-terrain render support.
This plugin supports the following:
- import of legacy terrain file and latest terrain format (compatible with TGE, TGEA, Torque3D and Torque3D MIT release)
- import of terrain textures and terrain material map
- possible to smooth terrain material map or to create a bigger one than current terrain for higher definition
- possible to create multiple terrain instance into one terrain file
- save of terrain data and material into your unity project; so you can easily import it later on
- possible to change terrain block size, and terrain height scale
In addition to the import plugin, there is one component behavior allowing you to display multiple tile terrain which can be used to support big terrain rendering:
- select which terrain data to tile
- set tile in x and y (# of occurences of terrain in x and y)
- automatically set the correct terrain neighboors in order to have seamless LOD junctions
Currently detail textures from Torque3D are not supported.
