Tile prefab placer is a tool for easy placing tile objects on a grid, and also has many tools for easy placing default game objects.
Key features:
- Single mode:
- Simple. Simple object placing without any tools.
- Custom handles. Place object and customize local position, rotation, scale.
- Cursor point rotation. Place object and rotate in the direction of the cursor.
- Custom point rotation. Place object and rotate in the direction of the custom point.
- Physics placing. Place objects by physics.
- Brush attach mode. Attach object to any surface (collider of mesh) and customize position or rotation by any default object single mode tools.
- Brush mode:
- Create multiple objects on any surface (collider or mesh).
- Line mode:
- Free. Place objects on a grid in the direction of the cursor.
- Fixed. Create straight lines on a grid.
- Curved. Placing objects along a custom curved line.
- Area mode:
- Default. Create default object areas on the grid or on custom positions.
- Scale. Create 1 scaled object area.
- Multi-floor. Create multifloor object area.
- Destroy mode:
- Map tile grid deletion. Destroy tile objects on the grid by selected maptile layer.
- Box raycast. Destroy any object by box raycast.
- Brush raycast. Destroy any object by brush raycast.
- Screen selection. Select objects by screen selection to destroy any object in the scene.
- Tileset mode:
- Create a tileset for quick creation of linked areas, for example sidewalks.
- Translate mode:
- Move any objects on the grid, with snapping, or freely.
- Template mode:
- Create any pattern from any set of prefabs and then use it in any of the default object modes.
Additional features:
- Random TRS. Randomize position, rotation and scale for object placing modes.
- Override. Override parent, maptile layer and unity layer.
- Snap. Customize Y-axis snapping.
- Replace. Set up replacement of other intersected objects.
- Merge. Set up merge a new created object by a child to an existing one object.
- Randomizer. Set up random objects to create.
- Custom grid. Сhange grid settings on the fly.
