Danesh is an in-editor tool to help you explore, explain and experiment with procedural generators. Whether you're just getting started with procedural generation or are a seasoned expert, Danesh can help you out!
Danesh is developed by The Metamakers, a team of experts in generative software and artificial intelligence. We'll be growing the tool with new example generators, analytical tools and in-depth tutorials, including experimental ideas from the cutting edge of academic research!
Features:
- Easily load a generator into Danesh with a few lines of code.
- Use a dynamic interface to rapidly tweak and view content.
- Write metrics to analyse content singly or in bulk.
- Use Expressive Range Analysis to understand a generator's behaviour at a higher level.
- Perform Randomised Expressive Range Analyses to explore the full potential of your generator and discover new niches and surprises in your systems.
- Save and load generator states from inside the tool.
- Comes with 5 example generators, including different maze algorithms and a Spelunky-style level generator. More to come in the future!
