Want a robust and easy way to control flying or space vehicles? Spaceflight Controls gives your space ships a solid an intuitive control system, and turns your players into ace pilots with ease.
The controls are not based around absolute Newtonian realism, but are instead based on simplicity and fun. It handles similarly to control schemes seen in several popular space shooter titles.
This input system translates well across multiple platforms. While it shines the most on PC, gamepads are fully supported as well (Yes, virtual joysticks will tie in easily too!). Accelerometer input is not explicitly supported, although modifying the code to handle it for your specific device and purposes should be very simple.
As this is a system that will undoubtedly need to tie into other parts of your game, all code is heavily commented and next to nothing is hardcoded in case anything needs to be modified.
Documentation, examples, and prefabs are included.
