Finding the desired shape in a scene view can be tedious and tiresome, especially if there are multiple shapes overlapping each other.
Creating a gizmo for each shape can create a better overview, but you either have to create a gizmo for each shape object or put a gizmo component on each object you want to highlight.
This simple shape highlighting extension avoids such tedious work and enables you to highlight any shape by only creating one Gizmo function per shape type.
It enhances your overall workflow in Unity by giving a better overview of existing shapes in a scene.
Each shape highlight can be turned on and off individually and it is also possible to define multiple colors for the same shape by applying filters.
All features mentioned above can be managed from a custom editor. In this window you can manage the colors and filters for the specific shapes.
To further increase usability all highlighted shapes receive a default gameobject icon so you can directly click on them and select the object with the shape component.
