"Ruotando", it is a small and simple utility but very useful. It allows to easily change the pivot of an object and facilitate thus the rotation on customized axes. By selecting an object that has a "mesh filter" component, they will trigger the necessary tools that enable the management of the pivot. Via the selector, you can easily set the maximum slew limits of the pivot, in order to make management easier and more accurate.
If the limit switch is set to "Bounds", the pivot can be moved only within the limits of the object itself.
If the switch is set to "Edges", the boundaries are set based on the object edges.
Finally, with the switch set to "Custom", the borders can be customized by the user based on the object's size.
By clicking on "Freeze Pivot", as the name implies, the pivot will be permanently assigned to the object, thus also by unchecking and re-selecting the object again, the new Pivot will be maintained.
"Auto Center", allows you to move the Pivot to the perfect center of the object, so as we can see, the Pivot previously assigned permanently in this case will again be restored to its original state.
In the "Rotating object" section, we find a selector with some already preset angle of rotation limits, but, exactly as it is In the "Moves the Pivot" section, also in this case it is possible to set a custom angle limit rotation.
Now that we could move the pivot object according to our needs, we can perform with great ease any kind of rotation, as we please or as we need, without getting bogged down in a long series of annoying and difficult calculations.
