Rotating and Flashing Light
The Pleebie Jeebies Rotating and Flashing Light asset can control a light or object in many ways. It allows the creator a simple way to control these Unity objects by only having to use the inspector to set up some kind of light that can rotate, flash, or change color as desired.
The main functions of this asset are:
- Control any number of lights to rotate, flash, or change colors
- Change an object’s mesh material to match lights being toggled or changing color
- Control a game object to rotate in a direction of choice
- Control an audio source to work with the light or object
Also Provides:
- Color spectrum of materials in solid and transparent variants created for the built-in (BRP) or universal rendering pipelines (URP)
- Various prefabs showing different ways to use the asset with both BRP and URP variants
- Post processing profiles for a nice bloom effect in both BRP and URP variants
- 5 royalty free wav files used in some prefabs to sample how sounds can be controlled
- Demo scenes sampling both BRP and URP prefab variants with post processing applied, and another BRP scene without post processing
- URP asset files to get the same look I use in my demo scene
- Detailed documentation to aid in any setup or provide information, as well as some code snippets and tips when working with the Unity editor and/or this asset

NOTE: The functionality of this asset will work in any Unity Rendering Pipeline, but some extra setup may be required for mesh material changes. Some Built-in Rendering Pipeline (BRP) and Universal Rendering Pipeline (URP) materials and prefabs are provided, but for other pipelines or if the ones provided aren’t desired, new ones will have to be created.
Detailed documentation is provided to aid in any setup required.
