This first set of Roman era kitchen utensil contains 7 historically accurate items; Cauldron, Water heater, Grate, Drawer, Casserole, Pot and Small saucepan. 

These objects are based on artifacts found in excavations in several parts of Italy (Rome, Orvieto, Imola) were the normal endowment of the Pompeian and Roman kitchens. Their appearance is approximately of I° century a.c to arrive at III , IV century d.c. 


Several authors of ancient Rome (Apicio, Giovenale, Petronio, Columella, Plinio il Vecchio ) have described the ingredients and preparation of ancient Roman cuisine and these objects are part of their description.
