Planetary Atmospheric Scattering was created to achieve a fast, beautiful, and physically accurate atmospheric scattering effect for planetary rendering. PAS is based on a lookup table design and features many industry standard rendering techniques to achieve high fidelity atmospheric rendering without compromising performance.
