This is the definitive pause menu for the Unity engine.
This is a free asset, no string attached, for everyone to use. It is also open source and alpha builds are hosted here at Github.
It is recommended that you clone from the Github repo as it is stable and has the latest featuresFeatures:
This package utilizes fluid animations and sprite swaps in order to transition between panels and buttons.
The script that powers the pause menu implements many of the video settings defined in QualitySettings and more. It also has audio control features.
The manager is also feature rich and is easy to set up, but it's ready to go out of the box using a pause menu prefab, so chances are you won't need to do any setting up.
You can save the settings using the Json save feature. The save/load feature is completely implemented so there's no hassle with doing it yourself.
The code is well documented, so finding members such as, methods is super easy. It also comes with generated documentation by Doxygen so you won't have to worry about sorting through the code yourself.
This package also comes with 3 distinct visual styles for you to chose from, both look good for their individual circumstances.
Best of all: it's FREE!
