Morphable Sword Base
We present to you a wonderfully easy-to-use asset that allows you to create a near infinite amount of unique swords / blades / daggers / scythes.. / and other types of tools, weapons or sword-like decorations.
Adjust this prop weapon via sliders until it fits your needs - or randomize the blendshapes and generate a near infinite amount of unique swords for all your projects!
Still not convinced?
Use any of the 32 included high quality materials to adjust the 4 material slots of the sword. The included Materials folder contains different sets for each of the 4 slots (Edges, Base, Handle & Handle Protector).
HOWTO:
There's a demo scene included with some examples of sword styles - feel free to use them, or create your own styles from any of the examples or the default fbx.
In case you need a step-by-step instruction, I included a README.txt for help.
Take a look at the Components attached to the object, find the SkinnedMeshRenderer, and adjust the blendshapes of the sword's SkinnedMeshRenderer component via their respective sliders to change the sword mesh in a certain way. You can do this manually by hand, or via script, or animate it to create unfolding, randomly morphing, or even shivering blades - just use your imagination with the Morphable Sword Base! ;-)
