This retro 8 bit UI menu library was developed with tried and true classic emulation techniques. At the source, the sound effects are created using basic wavetable shapes with an additional set of noise-based source for the explosion sounds. We then ran some of the sounds through carefully designed sequences and modtrackers at various tempos to get the authentic vintage feel of transitions, user feedback, and musical motifs.
This sound effects library covers all UI menu sounds needed; accept, select, fail, game over, purchase, open, close, transitions, game over, quit, navigate clicks, retro musical motifs and sequences, and more.
