Have you ever counted the seconds after a lightning strike until the thunder arrives? With this asset you can simulate the speed of sound on explosions, gunshots, missiles, jet planes and anything else you can think of in Unity.
Distant explosions having the sound arrive many seconds later.
Fighter jets seeming completely silent until they zoom past you at supersonic speeds, creating a thunderous boom. Sound appears to be coming from behind.
The package contains:
Simple Audio Delay Script - distance delay for stationary objects like explosions and gunshots.
Moving Audio Script - distance delay and sonic boom for supersonic jets and rockets.
Moving fighter jet prefab - a simple technology demonstrator.
Explosion prefab - an explosion effect with sound delay calculated based on distance
Vapor Skirt - transonic vapor cloud particle effect for added realism.
3 sound effects for demonstration purposes.
N.B. The package does not contain the machine gun shown in the demo video.
