99 sounds effects of bloody impacts and bone cracks! Every type of sound has versions for perceived weight (small, medium, large). The long looped textures for background landscapes or any sort of looped events are also included.
All sounds in this pack was recorded with Tascam DR60mk2 recorder and trusty Oktava MK12 mics. I’ve edited the recordings and cut them to game ready assets with Reaper and iZotope RX audio software. The promo image was done by my spouse. Without a doubt you are looking at a product made with great passion and love!
What is inside:
- mono_main folder: I design all sounds in mono because this is the format that I’ve found to be most useful through years that I’m working with game audio. So this is the primary content.
- stereo_bonus folder: Same sounds as in mono folder but with simple stereo delay applied. These sounds might work for you or might not (they seem to be more harsh most of the time), so just see if you can find any usage for them. I thought this simple trick is worth doing, because it is just a few minutes for me, while some strangely beautiful game developer might be very thankful for this, who knows!
Naming convention is simple:
- [manufacturer(HS) and pack name(g)] _ [type of material(blood or bone)] _ [type of action (impact, crack or texture loop)] _ [perceived weight of the sound (s=small, m=medium, l=large)] _ [short or long (if applicable)] _ [number] _ [stereo or not]
- For example here is how short medium blood impact look like: HSg_blood_impact_m_short_02
Thanks for your interest to this sound pack! I hope it suits your project needs and if you will be in the mood for doing something extra (just as me with stereo bonus sounds) - I will be glad if you could leave some short review here.
Love you all, take care!
