Do you know the trouble of keeping all colors in your project in sync?
For example if you want to change the main color of you game/app from red to blue, you have to change all color fields where red is used.
With this asset you can use themes. This means that you have one color field that controls all others. The great thing is, that you can have an unlimited amount of themes and an unlimited amount of colors per theme. If you want to change the look you can just change a single color or replace the theme used.
Every gameObject can use a different theme so you could create a theme for every new part of your game or app.
The setup is super simple and it doesn't take more than a minute. Just try it!
This asset also supports Selectables (e.g. Buttons, Toggles, InputFields etc.) and all of there four different color stages!! (Normal / Highlighted / Pressed / Disabled)
The Color Reference component can be used with the following components:
- Image
- Text
- Raw Image
- Any MaskableGraphic
- Sprite Renderer
- Particle System
- Camera (the background color)
- TextMesh
- Renderer/Material
- Renderer/Shared Material
- Light (Spot, Directional, Point and Area)
- Line Renderer
