Fully supported in Unity5!
Requires Unity 4.1 or higher.
**Unity Pro required. iOS Pro/Android Pro required for projects targeting those respective platforms.**
**A runtime environment that can run Image Effects is required. Hardware must support Shader Model 3.0.**
The Color Blindness Simulator for Unity was developed to provide creators using the Unity 3D engine a means to experience how color blind persons might perceive colors.
It is estimated that over 200 million people worldwide are color blind. More than 3 million in Japan – including 1 in every 20 males and 1 in every 500 females – are affected by the condition. In France, 1 in every 6 males are color blind.
Creators can use the tool throughout the course of the development process to verify how their projects may appear to people affected by varying degrees of color blindness. They would then be able to adjust their design and assets to make objects more readily discernable.
Features:
*Simulate two types of color blindness: Protanopia or Deuteranopia
*Adjustable intensity of color blindness
