Click to Color is designed for use with a low poly flat shaded art style.
Click to Color creates and edits grid based color palettes that can be used for individual models or complete scenes/games. All editing of the textures is done within Unity. This reduces development time as there is no need to jump back and forth between Unity and a photo editing program.
The use of color palettes can drastically reduce the number of materials needed as each color palette can store between 4 and 64 colors - more than enough for most low poly scenes. This helps to reduce draw calls and improvement performance.
Texture sizes can also be very small (32 x 32) which can help to keep build size to a minimum. Great for mobile builds!
By default textures sizes are limited to a maximum of 1024 x 1024 pixels with a maximum of 64 colors (8 x 8 grid). This is done for speed and can be easily changed in the source code.
Documentation can be found as a Google Document
The art assets shown are included but are a single mesh and not intended to be used beyond the demo scene.
