Chronicle Inspector is a lite weight extension of Unity’s native inspector. It can help you be more productive in almost any project. It provides the user with a history of all their selections. No more do you have to navigate all the way back to the object you had last selected.
One of the biggest goals of this project was to make it as small as possible and to draw in the same window that the inspector draws in. This allows you to keep you to keep your workspace uncluttered. At its smallest size it only takes up 20 pixels but still allows for functionally.
Features
1) History of all selections made.
2) Draws in line with default inspector.
3) Standalone DLLs that are installation specific. You don’t have to put the source in every project.
4) Breadcrumbs to allow for easy navigation and draggable for referencing.
5) Access to three inspector modes; Normal, Debug, and Debug Internal
Versions
1.0.3 First Release
Source
Since the project is a standalone, all source code was created in a custom csProj. It has quite a few MSBuild instructions as well as T4 Generators. If you would like access I can give you access to the Git Repo. Just send me an email at [email protected] after purchasing the project on Unity’s Asset Store.
Development
This is still under active development and I will be pushing releases as I fix things. If you would like to have any features added just let me know.
