Carriage - HQ PBR Vehicle
This Carriage asset has been updated to use real world scale. The Carriage has several parts that include the Body, Top, Front Wheel Base, and Brace. Each Wheel is a separate piece as well as Front wheels and Back wheels as a separate piece, just hide the extra wheels you don't need, or just delete those parts.
Each part is grouped in a logical way for easy rotation and editing. The pivots for each piece correspond to the rotation center for that part. For example, the center for the wheel rotation, or the Front wheel Bace pivot is in the middle so you can rotate the brace and wheels.
This Carriage has several different color, normal and roughness textures you can mix and match to change the material definition. The material presets created with the asset are just some of the variations available and you can make your own changes with the Material ID map provided. The materials can also be swapped out per piece to make even more variation of the look and feel of the carriage.
All textures use lossless .tga or .png file formats to keep quality
Carriage Texture resolution - 2048: 8 Albedo, 5 Normal, 7 Metallic/Gloss, 2 Ambient Occlusion, 1 Material ID
Carriage Tri count Total - 13,296
Box Collider assigned to the Carriage and Wheel Colliders assigned for each wheel.
Scene demo includes example of the Carriage, and a Prefab is included with the Clean material and colliders as well as a RigidBody assigned for simple physics interaction.
As a bonus, i have included an image for my setup based of the Standard Assets example of a Car User Control (script) and Car Controller (script) found in the Standard Assets - Vehicles scripts folder so you can move the Carriage around with keyboard input. Just import the standard assets vehicles scripts into your project then add and set up the scripts like shown in the image, remember to drag and drop the Wheel Colliders and Wheel Meshes that are in the Carriage onto the Car Controller script as shown and adjust the settings like the image. As anything, things will need to be tweaked for your own uses in your own projects. The image provided is just my test that works for me and is not in any way the exact settings needed for your projects. It is only meant to be a simple example to set up your own. Current version of unity is 2017.3.1f1. There are no audio, effects, or lighting included with this asset.
