ARCC is a physic-based character controller designed for parcourt and platforming games.
Major features includes :
- Stairs
- Moving & rotating platforms
- Double/Triple/etc. jumps
- Sliding on slopes
- Wall running
- Wall jumping
- Wall climbing
- Crouching & Tackling
- Reaction to PhysicMaterial's friction
- Custom gravity direction
- Sticking to curved surfaces, loops, etc.
All those behaviors can be disabled and/or configured individually.
Update 2.0.0 :
Full rewrite for better stability, performance, smoothness and future expansions. Please make a clean re-install if you were using a previous version.
- New Wall Climbing behavior.
- New Environment Override component, allowing to unable/disable specific behaviors on specific geometry.
- New Material public property, indicating which (MeshRenderer) material the character is walking on.
- New demo scene : Speedrun City
- Demo character now also has first person and 2D view.
