This compilation focuses on targeting, movement of weapons and projectiles. Prefabs and scripts are included that allow you to add player controlled weapons and AI controlled turrets.
There is also a selection of different types of projectiles (Guided Rockets, Bullets, Blasters). Ethereal projectiles are also included that can pass through objects afftecting them and going on to hit others.
Scripts to attach to objects allowing them to take damage and be killed (leaving wreckage if you wish) has also been provided.
Everything has been designed modularly so you can add whatever building blocks you want to your own weapons out of those provided.
Does not include artwork or explosions beyond simple PNG's, however care has been taken to make adding your own extremely simple.
I have attempted to make these assets as intutive as possible and they should function well without any scripting knowlege. I have also created functions that can be called by other scripts for anyone who wants further control. All code is easy to reverse-engineer should you want to add or remove anything however most functionality can be toggled on/off via the inspector.
It has been my experience that there is very little available on the Asset Store for Unity's new 2D system that is aimed at people who are new to the program or dont want to script themselves. This compilation and others I have planned attempt to address that.
