2.5D Bike Racing Game Template

What is this?
It's a ready-to-release 2.5D racing game with everything you need.
It contains and extends these paid packages for free:
● 2.5D Terrain
● 2.5D Bridge Builder
● 2.5D Bike and Character
● 2.5D Looping

Where is the catch?
Well, there is no audio included. You'll have to make your own sound effects.
And you might want to add some more levels (level creation tools included).

● 2.5D Bike and Character
A battle tested 2d pyhsics bike and character rig (played by 100.000+ players). See 2.5D Bike for more details.

● Level creation tools
Sophisiticated tools made specifically for 2.5D worlds. Namely 2.5D Terrain and 2.5D Bridge Builder and a looping for good measure.

● Fully playable game
Includes a release ready game with save system, touch & keyboard controls, ui management, world building tools, ... . The menu is very minimal to give you room to express yourself (i.e. rip out what you don't need). It's meant as a starting base which allows you to get into designing your game quickly.

● Mobile Ready
Optimized for performance (runs nicely even on 3 year old devices).

● Full Source Code
Comments in the code explain everything. Uses assembly definitions to improve compile times.

● Extensive Documentation
All concepts are explained in the manual using some text and many many images.

● A real world solution
It's not an academic paper but derived from a project with 100.000+ players that was released on Pc, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, Windows Store, Xbox and the Nintendo Switch. Though the Switch code is not included due to Nintendo NDA, sorry.

● Supports Unity 2020, 2021, 2022+ LTS
Sadly the Asset Store no longer allows uploads of 2019 projects. Please contact support if you need the 2019 version. All scripts work in 2019 too!

● Supports URP, HDRP and BuiltIn
All render pipelines are supported. Demo triplanar shader with materials included. All materials are patched automatically upon import. No pink materials! You will be ready to go immediately.

NOTICE #1: The triplanar URP and HDRP shaders are based on shader graph. You need to have the Shader Graph Package installed to use them. Though you can always fall back to the BuiltIn shader too.

NOTICE #2: There is NO AUDIO included!

NOTICE #3: The TextFields in the UI are using TextMeshPro. You will be asked to import TMP once you open a scene which contains UI elements.

I publish this template with full source code because as a developer I know how annoying it is to not have source code access. If you like it then please remind others to purchase the plugin. Don't just copy and paste it everywhere.

⚙️ Installation

1) Download the Asset and import it into your project.
2) You are done, no additional setup is needed (except for reading the manual).

⚠️ Read the manual. No really, I mean it. READ THE MANUAL. It's quite a lot of code and you will get into it much quicker if you know the core concepts before engaging it.
