▼HOW TO USE IT? ▼
♦ STEPS —
1. drag and drop the prefab called " MiniMap" in a canvas
2. Drag that canvas and drop it in the MiniMap/canvas slot.
2. drag and drop the script called " Dot" in your player and check the boolean "ISMAINPLAYER"
♦ ADD A MAP SPRITE—
If you want to add a UI Image for your map, follow these instructions:
1. take a screenshot of your map from above
2. crop your map in photoshop. and make sure it's centered.
3. the photoshop Image must have the same dimensions. example 512x512.
4. in unity, use that image as UI Sprite.
5. create a panel and a material. drag and drop your image as a material texture.
6. drag and drop the material onto the plane and make sure to rotate it 180 degrees to fit your map.
7. scale your plane until it fits your map(on scene).
8. When that's done, drag and drop the MapPlane and the Map Sprite to the MiniMap script.
NOTE: the final product shown shows how ambitious our product is. the design is up to the user.
