The Tanknarok Multiplayer Demo illustrates how to build a small multiplayer arena-style Tank game with state of the art networking features.
You may recognize Tanknarok from Steam as the gameplay logic, audio and wonderful graphics were provided by our friends at Polyblock Studios - this is just a small slice of the actual game, ported to Photon Fusion.
Highlights
- Shared and Hosted mode support
- Lag Compensated Raycasts
- Predictive Spawning
- Object Pooling
- Complete Game Loop
This sample shows how physics-like effects can be achieved without the complications resulting from mixing a predictive network system with an undeterministic rigidbody physics engine but Fusion fully supports synchronizing Unity rigid bodies, too.
This package only has keyboard and mouse input. Fusion supports standalone, mobile and console. WebGL is not supported.
