This package is part of the MicroVerse-Core Collection - considering purchase it for a savings over purchasing modules individually
The main MicroVerse package allows you to edit your terrain in real time in a non-destructive manner. It includes tools to rapidly sculpt and texture terrains in realtime, and is extensible with other modules for new capabilities, such as vegetation placement and spline based workflows.

MicroVerse works on the concept of Stamps, which can be global or bound to a specific area, can be procedural or from data, and can affect the height, texturing, tree, or detail rendering of the terrain. It works seamlessly across terrains, and is intrinsically setup for biomes.
The included Texture Stamp system procedurally textures your terrain based on height, slope, angle, and curvature of the terrain. You can use multiple kinds of noise, and restrict any stamp to an area using a falloff shape, texture, or spline if you have the spline package installed.
While you don't need to paint with MicroVerse, you can still use Unity's terrain painting tools in a non-destructive manner - you can create a Copy/Paste stamp, paint in it's area, then it will act like any other stamp in the system, allowing you to move and copy it to new places, with the existing terrain remaining untouched.
With occlusion stamps you can lock areas of the terrain so that other stamps do not effect them, for instance preventing trees or grass from growing there.
And note that any hierarchy of these stamps can be turned into a prefab, and simply dropped onto a new terrain to apply it's effects, be they global or area based.
MicroVerse seamlessly integrates with MicroSplat for more advanced shading, but does not require it and works just as well with other terrain shaders. MicroVerse works across all render pipelines.
The MicroVerse Content Browser allows you to create fully textured and populated biomes with a single drag and drop. Presets for the content browser are currently available for the following assets:
Meadow Environment - Dynamic Nature
Mountain Trees - Dynamic Nature
StampIt - Collection - plus all individual StampIt packs
