Iridescent Pearlescent Shell Shader
This package includes the Iridescent pearlescent shell shader and the related tileable PBR textures.
Iridescent Pearlescent Shell Shader is designed and developed by COMICOMI. This shader is suitable for any iridescent or pearlescent surfaces, whether it’s a shell surface, beetle shell surface or special car paint surface. The principle is the same, once you replace the original shell texture with other types of material and play with the values of the shader, you can get another believable iridescent material. The textures are made to make them tileable. We are not using a non-PBR workflow by using a prebaked rainbow color/specular map. We are using the PBR workflow with dynamic iridescent effect. With the help of the shader and the tileable PBR textures, you can make any iridescent surface for your character or environment.
The textures were developed using the High Poly to Low Poly pipeline. The baked maps were then used to generate PBR textures for this asset. There is no LOD for this environment asset. Lighting and post processing settings are included.
This Package works only in Unity version 2022.3.6f1 and higher.
The first release only includes Built-in version, URP version is in the development and will be included in the future releases.
This environment asset is meant for Mobile platform, but it can be used in any project(PC, Console, VR, etc)
