The Gradient Maps asset allows you to add native gradient mapping effects to your Unity UI elements.
This lightweight component is suitable for mobile platforms and does not break UI batching or force a layout refresh.
Gradient Maps works with any UI graphic element, such as an image, raw image, or any custom graphic implementation, as well as common sprite renderer components.
Gradient Maps asset comes with a tool that allows you to extract the gradient of elements created with gradient maps in an external editor.
It's especially useful if you want to convert existing sprites into native gradient based elements.
The MultimaskGradientMapEffect is a component available in the Pro edition that allows you to apply multiple gradients to a single base sprite.
This asset is assembly definition friendly. It is separated into 3 definitions: Runtime, Editor, Demo, does not require a specific place in the asset folder and is not intrusive in any way.
