TV Station is an asset package that simulates the functionality of a television. A player can move towards the TV and change the channel which results in the changing of the video that is being rendered by the TV screen. A TV channel that does not exist in the list of “TV channels” will result in a random black and white noise on the TV screen. This simulates a regular TV.
How does this work?
The TVs leverage the functionalities of Unity's video player. When you move towards any television, you can input a numeric value to change the channel of that television. You can import your own videos into the project and decide which video you want to play on a given channel. If that channel does not exist on the list of TV channels, you will get a random black and white noise screen just like you see in TVs.
Please note that
This package does not connect to live TV, as it is simply a simulation of how TVs work. The channels you will be tuning to are simply videos you will import into your own project.
