Darkline Spider is big Spider member of darkline serie assets. Asset comes with 3 versions of skeletal mesh. normal, tarantula and dense(contains both normal and tarantula) please previews.
DarkLines are alien life forms that looks like black "drawing" with Thin/Smooth lines or Tangled-Bold black tentacles thanks to Shader that gives all that (and more)looks with many settings in it.
Main and unique feature of this asset its overall look that result of mesh and shaders works together. material is not static and not pre-painted on tex-UVs. instead it uses only 1 tileable texture and URP shadergraph (also HDRP version too added) to make many different looks procedurally! please see provided preview video below!

Darkline series Shader gives you options to set:
- Noise movements to make all lines alive!
- Bulge waves-light waves
- Thickness
- Emission
- Separated BC and Emission HUE.
- Smoothness
- Metallness
- Normal
- randomness option!
- texture options like movement(gves crawling movement effect to lines) and scale
- also with HDRP version and it has alpha options too.
All shader features sorted above also uses 4 type-mixable masks by:
- along lines
- by depth from surface
- random per line(each line takes different values)
- Head to limbs
also some channels like thickness has additional 2 masks like limbs and hair-head.
all this features together gives you many different looks. it can be dark nightmare or fancy cyber wires depending how you set it!
Please notice!!!
- this asset is a character. not a material pack.
- Shader is not independed and specially configured to work with darkline meshes. this shader may not work with other meshes if they not have extactly same mesh features like darkline assets!. And will be hard to configure it for other-custom meshes.
- i will made a (in 2025) shader-material asset pack that will contain new darkline shader too. that version will be more mesh-independent shader. until that, current darkline shader shader is only part of darkline assets and highly depends on asset's mesh.
- This Procejt made as a URP project but HDRP shadergraph also included.
