A large collection of blood and guts VFX. There are 10 different types of effect in this collection, with some containing multiple variations.
Each of the VFX have demo scenes to demonstrate their implementation, each with custom scripts to trigger the various effects. Prefabs of each separate effect are also included.
Blood Explosion
A dramatic blood and gore explosion, including multiple blood spray/spatter effects, blood mist, flesh pieces colliding with the environment (producing additional splashes) and large and small ground blood drops and splashes.
Blood Hit
A blood hit effect, useful when a weapon hits a character. The effect is comprised of multiple blood spray effects and can be scaled for any situation.
Blood Trail
A trail of blood marks and footprints that are left in the player's path. The ground decals are placed in random order and at random intervals. Simply parent the Blood Trail prefab to the avatar.
Blood Spatter - Bullet
This effect creates a pattern of drops and dripping blood spatter, designed to be placed against a wall or flat surface. Some additional elements include a bullet wound plus an exit wound blood spray.
Blood Spatter - Blade
This effect creates a dramatic cast off blood spatter, designed to be placed against a wall or flat surface. There's three different versions of the blood effect. The demo scene gives an example of how this could be implemented, with the avatar being damaged and then falling the floor with ragoll physics.
Brain Spatter
This effect creates a rather disgusting pattern of brain and blood spatter. Some additional elements include a bullet wound plus an exit wound blood spray.
Decapitation
This effect creates the effects for an avatar's head being cut off, including VFXs from both the neck and the severed head. The demo scene gives an example of how this could be implemented, with the avatar's head being separated and then falling to the floor with ragoll physics along with the body.
Head Explode
This effect creates the effects for an avatar head explosion.
Screen Blood
This effect creates an effect of blood spatter hitting the camera lens. Simply parent the effect to your camera. Two versions are included, one using texture sheet animations and one using single textures.
Please note that this pack doesn't offer a complete solution for avatar damage/deformation, although some examples are provided for demonstarton purposes. Scripts are included to transition from an avatar from animation to ragdoll however.
Versions for the built-in, HDRP and URP pipelines are also supplied.
