The Blackhole System by Golem Kin Games is the ultimate solution for creating dynamic blackhole effects that pull, shrink, and destroy objects in both 2D and 3D environments. Perfect for adding immersive environmental effects, vortex mechanics, or other unique gameplay elements to your project. With a powerful and easy-to-use inspector, you can fully customize the behavior, visuals, and sound effects of the blackhole to suit your needs.

Key Features:

  • 2D and 3D Blackhole Effects: Easily switch between 2D (CircleCollider2D) and 3D (SphereCollider) modes for flexible use in different types of games.
  • Customizable Pull Radius & Power: Define how far objects are pulled towards the blackhole and adjust the force of the pull.
  • Destruction and Shrinking: Objects shrink as they approach the blackhole, and you can control at what distance they are destroyed or disabled.
  • Force Falloff: Choose from Linear, Inverse, or No Falloff to determine how the pull force diminishes over distance.
  • Destruction Delay: Control how long objects remain in the blackhole’s influence before being destroyed or disabled.
  • Particle & Audio Effects: Add a particle system and audio clip to play when objects are destroyed or disabled, adding an extra layer of visual and audio feedback.
  • Gizmos for Visual Feedback: Visualize the blackhole's radius, shrink start distance, and destroy distance with built-in gizmos for real-time feedback in the Unity Editor.
  • Simple Setup: Just add the Blackhole script to a GameObject and customize the settings in the inspector. Add the BlackholeAffector script to any objects you want affected by the blackhole.

How It Works:

  1. Add the Blackhole script to any GameObject in your scene.
  2. Choose between 2D and 3D mode in the inspector.
  3. Set the pull radius, pull power, shrink start distance, and destroy distance to control the blackhole’s behavior.
  4. Optionally assign particle and audio effects for more immersive destruction events.
  5. Add the BlackholeAffector script to any object you want to be affected by the blackhole. Make sure these objects have a Rigidbody for 3D or Rigidbody2D for 2D.

Perfect for:

  • Vortex-like mechanics in space games
  • Dynamic environmental hazards
  • Unique puzzle or platforming mechanics
  • Blackhole-themed effects for sci-fi or fantasy games

The Blackhole System is an essential tool for developers looking to add engaging, immersive effects to their projects with ease. Whether you're building a 2D or 3D game, this flexible system adapts to your needs.
